Pilgrimage ride to Broken Hill for a family visit.

Bridge over the Darling River at Wilcannia.

The Ninja loaded up.

Plenty of rain out this way too – Stephens Creek very full.

Did I mention it was cold ….

Trip to the river at Menindee. All these blokes share the same surname.

Can’t beat a feed of yabbies.

Saw this KLunkeR with a tow bar on one of my many walks around Broken Hill.

It must be one of them there turbo charged KLR’s ๐Ÿ™‚

Gloucester and Beyond

Mohawk and Nige went for another ride on the mighty KLR650’s and yes, it rained again but at least it waited until we were nearly home.

How’s the Serenity?

Quiet ride in the bush then up Red Hill to Jerries for lunch, to Worthingtons to annoy (I mean talk to) the guys, coffee at Maccas and home.

You wouldn’t be dead (or at work) for quids ……

Grey Gum Clubhouse

Lucky insisted that we ride to Grey Gum AGAIN, I mean, doesn’t he know anywhere else to rideย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Fantastic weather and a great ride; Ant, Keys, Brizzer, Lucky, DD and Nige enjoyed a drink and some lunch in the sunshine.

KLunkeR Rebuild

KLunkeR using toooooooooooo much oil so it was decided a rebuild was in order.

Had the ‘Doohickey upgraded while the open heart was being done …. runs much quieter with, hopefully, a better long term outlook.

Top of the piston showing lots of carbon build up.

Lots of stuff has to come off.

The head was similarly coked up.

Is this what is known as a naked motorbike?

They had enough of me hanging around by this stage … seeya Nige!

Image Versys Ride Day

Image Motorcycles held a very widely advertised ride, predominately for Versys riders, down the usual route to the Grey Gum Cafe and some riders even made it back to Jerries.

Mohawk and Nige went along to fly the flag of Kawasakis that were not Versys and to assemble at the wrong Maccas just to confuse people.

There was a good showing of Versys by the time Mohawk and I caught up with the ride.

Murray from Image was sorta the sole representative. Where do you fit in Cookie?

The numbers had dwindled by the time we sat down for lunch at the Cafe.

Cookie, Shane and Mohawk back at Jerries. Mohawk told me that I was going so slowly that Shane was doing wheelies behind me on the Putty.
As they say in the classics, ‘Plenty of room on the outside’ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

A larger than usual Versys.
