KLR Parking
I need to clarify that the owner of this bike was NOT me, my bike was already across 🙂
Mohawk’s KLunkeR with a few kilos of Watagans Forest soil for a souvenir.

Lucky, Killswitch and Nige travelled to Katoomba via Wollombi, Broke, Milbrodale road across to the Putty, Blaxlands Ridge Road, Bells Line and eventually Katoomba.
We met up with Lucky’s mate Dave and a few other local characters who all helped us enjoy a few quiet ales.
Killswitch said Nige was doing windmill impressions for most of the evening before being greeted at the door to his room by a man holding a key to the same room Nige was in. The man did not get in Nige’s room.
The Hotel Gearin, that had a Jazz Concert just under our rooms, is conveniently located between Katoomba Railway Station and the Great Western Highway and so sober sleep was optional.
Looked a bit ordinary when we got up [and the weather was not looking too flash either 🙂 ] and headed off to find some breakfast. Nige led the group through the truck inspection lane on our way to a Blackheath cafe.
It started to sprinkle as we were finishing our breakfast so chose to put on our wets just in case, one rider nearly passed away from the exertions required to get into all this stuff and of course it didn’t really want to rain, just mess with our heads.
Lucky has planned an overnight ride this Sunday 12th Sept to Katoomba, have a few beers and a bit of a sleep and head back home on Monday 13th Sept.
Let me know if you are interested.
Also seeking expressions of interest for a September School Holiday Ride, Killswitch has a ride north planned for two nights.
I am attending the Snowy Ride (6 November 2010) this year, anyone else interested needs to let me know ASAP so accommodation can be planned.
Early correspondence from Scrounger indicated he would not be joining us on the ride as his hand had become attached to something called a ‘Happy Stick’ and Keys had obviously been drinking out bush because his message said he was a ‘bit dusty’.
Mohawk rode his KLR which was better suited to the roads around Kulnura.
Not often that every bike outside the pub belonged to a Nige rider.
Sideways Bob doing a cameo.
Lucky feeding his face again (and looking more than a little stunned).
Lobster and Nige took the KLunkeR’s for a ride through the Wattagan and Ourimbah State Forests.
I fell down 🙁
Saw this lined up outside St Vincent’s Hospital the other day.
Wonder if it would fit on the KLunkeR?
If they run out of fuel, they could always sail home.
Scrounger & Droopy have gone all corporate on us and are now licensed motor vehicle dealers.
They are agents for ‘Torino‘ motorcycles and are targeting LAMS approved bikes, both new and second hand.
A range of helmets and clothing are also available.

Mohawk, Lucky and Nige joined the Usyllians for a quiet ride to Chichester Dam.
Took a few interesting (read dirt) variations to the standard route and lost a couple of riders along the way but it was lovely weather and a very pleasant day.
BBQ was fuelled well enough to run a power station and some tasty charcoaled sausages sangers resulted.
Mohawk was on the KLunkeR and off course had to use its amazing off-road capabilities to ride over the gutter and park it on the grass.
Words escape me 😉
Lucky will probably be the next President of the Usyllians after he had the crowd enthralled as he regaled them with stories about the exploits of the Busa.
Lucky trying to win ‘Clubman of the Day’ award.
