Mohawk and Nige were riding their mighty KLunkeRs the other day when both bikes hit an enormous pothole in Gindurra Road in the shadows under the F3 overpass.
Even though it hit hard enough to rattle our ribs we didn’t stop to check the bikes out until we arrived at Pie in the Sky, after all, they are mighty KLunkeRs 🙂
Amazingly, both bikes had suffered exactly the same damage to the front rim.
When we had finished lunch and coffee (someones gotta do it) we headed back to check out the pothole and to take a few photos.
Miraculously, in the time we had been away, the pothole had been repaired ……
The potholes have some road in them.

Gosford Council has been contacted and we are waiting for an official response.
Every rides a good ride but that looks pretty savage. looks like it shook a few rims off cars too. My mighty KLunkerR is still a commuter but hope to catch up with you in the dirt soon. Andy Pandy bought a DR and he has ridden lots of dirt so you three will embarrass my novice efforts once again. Wonder how the Busa would go with knobbies?
