Not a great start, hardly any sleep. Smoke alarm in room has flat battery so it cheeped every hour, toilet ran constantly, fridge whired and clunked, compressors for pub just outside door and ran ALL night BUT it is a beautiful day for a ride through some of the best country around.
Left my luxurious cabin at Queenscliff and headed to the Sorrento Ferry. Much flasher that the Kangaroo Island Ferry, both ends open so it is a drive on – drive off affair.
