Currently have the bike stripped down for new paint job. Waiting for day of low humidity. Also have back wheel removed to get new tyre fitted. Hopefully all will be ready for New England ride.

Vale Graham Brown

In an amazing twist of irony this wonderful photo of Graham appeared in the Central Coast Advocate newspaper on the same day as his passing. The film project that his students submitted to the Kid Witness News project won the best short film section for primary students in NSW. This is a real achievement! There […]

SA to home via Great Ocean Road some suggestions.

Haven’t been in that corner of SA from Adelaide to Mt Gambier. There were some nice roads around Victor Harbour area. One place I have wanted to visit is Picinini Ponds near Mt Gambier. A diving snorkelling spot – fresh water but very clear and very deep apparently. Of course the blue lake in the […]

First stop Denman. Small but delicious $10 steak for lunch. Nige is demonstrating his new “no smile” policy for photographs. Capertee […]

Did a 2000km maiden trip in my recently purchased Navara dual cab and Cub Drifter camper van. Basically a big loop –  down south coast to Mallacoota – up the Great Alpine road to Bright – north through Albury and up Olympic Way through Junee to Cowra – across through Bathurst and Lithgow – along […]

Narrabi, Coonamble and the BMW rides home on a truck.

Photos of the early part of the ride. The Tourist Hotel Narrabri. Our digs for night one. The boys still in riding gear on the veranda. BMW luggage is great. It bites! Nige, Scrounger and Brizzer wondering who has the coolest head wear. A good value $3 breakfast at Subway before hitting the frog and […]
