A few Sundays ago Nige, Lucky, DD, Bill, Helen, Mohawk, and Killswitch rode off to Lake St Clair. The weather was delightful and the company was delicious. It was nice to welcome Bill on some kind of carbon fibre contraption that might have been a BMW something or other (I think it might have had the letter R in there somewhere but it was all very confusing.) His good wife, Helen, also joined us on an MV Brutale. Mohawk and Johnny bade us farewell at Broke and headed home for some special hugs from their respectives so missed the bounty of the the St Clair restaurant. You could buy an ice cream there if you wanted or a can of drink. The canteen man looked at us funny when we asked for Coke Zero. I think he liked sugar a bit. Anyway the lake was pretty nice but not worth the $3.50 entry fee and the unalterable position on it by the fat lady in the trailer who demanded it. I don’t even know if she worked there but she was pretty menacing so we all paid up.
\nAn uneventful return trip that ended at Jerry’s. And nobody rubbed anything out.<\/p>\n
